Welcome to Boroughmuir!

The 2008 season has now started and we are looking for new talent to boost our ranks. Outdoor nets are at Craiglockart and take place every Tueday from 6-8pm.

The picture above shows our ground as it looked until recently. Property developers Applecross moved into Meggetland at the end of the 2004 season and embarked on a project which has resulted in the building of a plot of homes, a new all weather pitch for hockey and football a complete upgrade of the rugby ground, new football pitches an excellent clubhouse facility and of course, a new cricket pitch.

Despite our earlier optimism, we will not be returning to Meggetland until next year. However, we will still be able to use the excellent and picturesque facilities at Craiglockhart, where our 1s will be playing their matches.

Boroughmuir currently have two XI's who play in the More & Co East of Scotland League divisions two and five. As a club we aim to play at the highest standard possible. However, we realise the importance of a good team spirit and we pride ourselves on being a friendly and sociable club. During the closed season we have indoor net practice, both of which are fully used by all players and are available for use by first timers as well.

We are always on the lookout for new players and welcome people of all ages, and abilities.
